חמש לשונות של גאולה
א. Les 4 langages de la Guéoula
Au début de la Paracha Vaera, Hachem annonce à Moché les quatre langages de la Guéoula (libération) :
« לָכֵן אֱמֹר לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲנִי ה׳ »
« C'est pourquoi, dis aux enfants d'Israël : Je suis Hachem »
C'est en rapport avec ces 4 langages que nous buvons 4 coupes de vin à Pessah !
ב. Le 5ème langage mystérieux
Mais le verset suivant ajoute un cinquième langage :
« וְהֵבֵאתִי אֶתְכֶם אֶל הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר נָשָׂאתִי אֶת יָדִי לָתֵת אֹתָהּ לְאַבְרָהָם לְיִצְחָק וּלְיַעֲקֹב »
« Et Je vous amènerai vers la terre que J'ai juré de donner à Abraham, Isaac et Jacob »
Question fondamentale :
Pourquoi ce 5ème langage est-il séparé des 4 premiers ? Pourquoi ne buvons-nous que 4 coupes et pas 5 ?
ג. La vraie finalité de la sortie d'Égypte
Les 4 premiers langages parlent de sortir de l'exil :
1. Sortir de sous le joug égyptien
2. Être délivré de l'esclavage
3. Être libéré complètement
4. Devenir le peuple de Hachem (au Sinaï)
Mais à quoi bon tout cela sans le 5ème langage ?
La vraie finalité :
Le but ultime de la sortie d'Égypte est d'entrer en Erets Israël et de construire le Beth Hamikdash !
Comme nous disons dans la Haggadah : « Si Hachem nous avait fait traverser la mer... Dayenou ! » — mais la ligne finale est le Temple.
ד. L'explication du Or HaHaïm
Le Or HaHaïm Hakadosh pose la question :
Problème : Hachem dit « וְהֵבֵאתִי » — « Je vous amènerai en Erets Israël ».
Mais que s'est-il passé ? La génération du désert n'est jamais entrée en Israël à cause de la faute des explorateurs !
Comment Hachem peut-il promettre quelque chose qu'Il ne réalise pas ?
Réponse du Or HaHaïm :
C'est pour cela que la Torah fait une séparation entre les 4 langages et le 5ème !
Les 4 premiers sont inconditionnels — une promesse absolue.
Le 5ème est conditionnel : « Si vous reconnaissez que Je suis Hachem... »
ה. La condition cachée
Regardons attentivement le texte :
« וִידַעְתֶּם כִּי אֲנִי ה׳ אֱלֹהֵיכֶם הַמּוֹצִיא אֶתְכֶם מִתַּחַת סִבְלוֹת מִצְרָיִם »
« Et vous saurez que Je suis Hachem votre Dieu qui vous fait sortir... »
Ce verset crée une coupure entre les 4 langages et le 5ème.
La condition : « Si vous reconnaissez (וִידַעְתֶּם) que Je suis Hachem... alors Je vous amènerai en Erets Israël. »
Mais si vous ne reconnaissez pas — comme lors de la faute des explorateurs — Je suis « libéré » de cette promesse.
ו. La coupe d'Eliyahou
C'est pour cela qu'au Seder de Pessah, nous avons :
La 5ème coupe correspond au 5ème langage : « וְהֵבֵאתִי »
C'est la coupe d'Eliyahou HaNavi, le prophète annonciateur de la Guéoula complète !
ז. Les 4 fils de la Haggadah
Nous avons aussi 4 fils dans la Haggadah :
Ces 4 fils correspondent aux 4 coupes et aux 4 langages.
Mais qui correspond à la 5ème coupe ?
ח. Le 5ème fils : celui qui n'est pas à table
Le secret de la Guéoula :
Le Sage est à table. Le Méchant aussi — il est là, il pose des questions provocantes, mais il est présent !
Le Simple est là. Celui qui ne sait pas demander aussi.
Mais il existe un 5ème fils...
Le 5ème fils est celui qui n'est pas du tout à la table !
Il est en Thaïlande, aux Philippines, ou simplement complètement déconnecté. Shabbat ne l'intéresse pas, le Seder ne l'intéresse pas, rien ne l'intéresse.
Mais c'est ton fils. Et il n'est pas à ta table.
ט. La condition de la Guéoula complète
Eliyahou HaNavi nous dit :
« הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי שֹׁלֵחַ לָכֶם אֵת אֵלִיָּה הַנָּבִיא לִפְנֵי בּוֹא יוֹם ה׳ הַגָּדוֹל וְהַנּוֹרָא »
« Voici, Je vous envoie le prophète Eliyahou avant le jour grand et redoutable de Hachem »
« וְהֵשִׁיב לֵב אָבוֹת עַל בָּנִים וְלֵב בָּנִים עַל אֲבוֹתָם »
« Et il ramènera le cœur des pères vers les fils, et le cœur des fils vers leurs pères »
Le message d'Eliyahou :
Ce n'est pas un exploit d'avoir les 4 fils autour de toi — ils sont déjà là !
Le défi est de ramener le 5ème fils à la table.
Tant que tu n'auras pas ramené ce fils éloigné, il n'y aura pas de Guéoula complète.
י. La promesse de la Torah
Quand la Torah dit « וְהֵבֵאתִי אֶתְכֶם אֶל הָאָרֶץ », c'est une promesse éternelle :
Le Premier Temple, le Deuxième Temple — ce n'étaient que des étapes vers la Guéoula finale.
La promesse de la Torah parle de l'entrée définitive en Erets Israël, avec le Troisième Temple, sans plus jamais d'exil.
L'exil d'Égypte est la racine de tous les exils.
La Guéoula d'Égypte est la racine de toutes les Guéoulot.
Quand tous les « 5èmes fils » reviendront à la table — alors « וְהֵבֵאתִי » s'accomplira pleinement !

א. The 4 Languages of Redemption
At the beginning of Parashat Vaera, Hashem announces to Moshe the four languages of redemption (Geulah):
« לָכֵן אֱמֹר לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲנִי ה׳ »
"Therefore say to the children of Israel: I am Hashem"
It is corresponding to these 4 languages that we drink 4 cups of wine at the Passover Seder!
ב. The Mysterious 5th Language
But the following verse adds a fifth language:
"וְהֵבֵאתִי אֶתְכֶם אֶל הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר נָשָׂאתִי אֶת יָדִי לָתֵת אֹתָהּ לְאַבְרָהָם לְיִצְחָק וּלְיַעֲקֹב"
"And I will bring you to the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob"
Fundamental question:
Why is this 5th language separated from the first 4? Why do we drink only 4 cups and not 5?
ג. The True Purpose of the Exodus
The first 4 languages speak of leaving exile:
1. Going out from under the Egyptian yoke
2. Being rescued from slavery
3. Being redeemed completely
4. Becoming Hashem's people (at Sinai)
But what good is all this without the 5th language?
The true purpose:
The ultimate goal of the Exodus is to enter Eretz Israel and build the Beit HaMikdash!
As we say in the Haggadah: "If Hashem had split the sea for us... Dayeinu!" — but the bottom line is the Temple.
ד. The Or HaHaim's Explanation
The Or HaHaim HaKadosh asks:
Problem: Hashem says "וְהֵבֵאתִי" — "I will bring you to Eretz Israel."
But what happened? The desert generation never entered Israel due to the sin of the spies!
How can Hashem promise something He doesn't fulfill?
The Or HaHaim's answer:
This is why the Torah makes a separation between the 4 languages and the 5th!
The first 4 are unconditional — an absolute promise.
The 5th is conditional: "If you recognize that I am Hashem..."
ה. The Hidden Condition
Let's look carefully at the text:
"וִידַעְתֶּם כִּי אֲנִי ה׳ אֱלֹהֵיכֶם הַמּוֹצִיא אֶתְכֶם מִתַּחַת סִבְלוֹת מִצְרָיִם"
"And you shall know that I am Hashem your God who brings you out..."
This verse creates a break between the 4 languages and the 5th.
The condition: "If you recognize (וִידַעְתֶּם) that I am Hashem... then I will bring you to Eretz Israel."
But if you don't recognize — like during the sin of the spies — I am "released" from this promise.
ו. Eliyahu's Cup
This is why at the Passover Seder, we have:
The 5th cup corresponds to the 5th language: "וְהֵבֵאתִי"
This is the cup of Eliyahu HaNavi, the prophet who heralds the complete Geulah!
ז. The 4 Sons of the Haggadah
We also have 4 sons in the Haggadah:
These 4 sons correspond to the 4 cups and the 4 languages.
But who corresponds to the 5th cup?
ח. The 5th Son: The One Not at the Table
The secret of redemption:
The Wise son is at the table. The Wicked one too — he's there, asking provocative questions, but he's present!
The Simple one is there. The one who doesn't know how to ask is there too.
But there's a 5th son...
The 5th son is the one who isn't at the table at all!
He's in Thailand, the Philippines, or just completely disconnected. Shabbat doesn't interest him, the Seder doesn't interest him, nothing interests him.
But he's your son. And he's not at your table.
ט. The Condition for Complete Redemption
Eliyahu HaNavi tells us:
"הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי שֹׁלֵחַ לָכֶם אֵת אֵלִיָּה הַנָּבִיא לִפְנֵי בּוֹא יוֹם ה׳ הַגָּדוֹל וְהַנּוֹרָא"
"Behold, I send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of Hashem"
"וְהֵשִׁיב לֵב אָבוֹת עַל בָּנִים וְלֵב בָּנִים עַל אֲבוֹתָם"
"And he will turn the hearts of fathers to children, and the hearts of children to their fathers"
Eliyahu's message:
It's not an achievement to have 4 sons around you — they're already there!
The challenge is to bring the 5th son back to the table.
Until you bring back that distant child, there will be no complete Geulah.
י. The Torah's Promise
When the Torah says "וְהֵבֵאתִי אֶתְכֶם אֶל הָאָרֶץ", it's an eternal promise:
The First Temple, the Second Temple — these were only steps toward the final Geulah.
The Torah's promise speaks of the permanent entry into Eretz Israel, with the Third Temple, never again to be exiled.
The Egyptian exile is the root of all exiles.
The Egyptian redemption is the root of all redemptions.
When all the "5th sons" return to the table — then "וְהֵבֵאתִי" will be fully realized!

א. ארבע לשונות גאולה
בתחילת פרשת וארא, הקב״ה מודיע למשה את ארבע לשונות הגאולה:
« לָכֵן אֱמֹר לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲנִי ה׳ »
« לכן אמור לבני ישראל: אני ה׳ »
כנגד 4 לשונות אלה אנחנו שותים 4 כוסות יין בליל הסדר!
ב. הלשון החמישית המסתורית
אבל הפסוק הבא מוסיף לשון חמישית:
« וְהֵבֵאתִי אֶתְכֶם אֶל הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר נָשָׂאתִי אֶת יָדִי לָתֵת אֹתָהּ לְאַבְרָהָם לְיִצְחָק וּלְיַעֲקֹב »
« והבאתי אתכם אל הארץ אשר נשאתי את ידי לתת אותה לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב »
שאלה יסודית:
למה הלשון החמישית מופרדת מארבע הראשונות? למה אנחנו שותים רק 4 כוסות ולא 5?
ג. התכלית האמיתית של יציאת מצרים
ארבע הלשונות הראשונות מדברות על יציאה מהגלות:
1. לצאת מתחת עול מצרים
2. להינצל מהעבדות
3. להיגאל לגמרי
4. להיות עם ה׳ (במעמד הר סיני)
אבל מה שווה כל זה בלי הלשון החמישית?
התכלית האמיתית:
המטרה הסופית של יציאת מצרים היא להיכנס לארץ ישראל ולבנות את בית המקדש!
כמו שאנחנו אומרים בהגדה: « אילו קרע לנו את הים... דיינו! » — אבל השורה התחתונה היא בית המקדש.
ד. הסבר האור החיים
האור החיים הקדוש שואל:
בעיה: הקב״ה אומר « וְהֵבֵאתִי » — « אביא אתכם לארץ ישראל ».
אבל מה קרה? דור המדבר לא נכנס לארץ בגלל חטא המרגלים!
איך הקב״ה יכול להבטיח משהו שהוא לא מקיים?
תשובת האור החיים:
לכן התורה עושה הפרדה בין 4 הלשונות ללשון החמישית!
ארבע הראשונות הן ללא תנאי — הבטחה מוחלטת.
החמישית היא מותנית: « אם תדעו שאני ה׳... »
ה. התנאי הנסתר
בואו נסתכל בקפידה על הטקסט:
« וִידַעְתֶּם כִּי אֲנִי ה׳ אֱלֹהֵיכֶם הַמּוֹצִיא אֶתְכֶם מִתַּחַת סִבְלוֹת מִצְרָיִם »
« וידעתם כי אני ה׳ אלוהיכם המוציא אתכם מתחת סבלות מצרים »
הפסוק הזה יוצר הפסקה בין 4 הלשונות לחמישית.
התנאי: « אם תדעו (וִידַעְתֶּם) שאני ה׳... אז אביא אתכם לארץ ישראל. »
אבל אם לא תדעו — כמו בחטא המרגלים — אני « פטור » מההבטחה הזאת.
ו. כוס אליהו
לכן בליל הסדר יש לנו:
הכוס החמישית מקבילה ללשון החמישית: « וְהֵבֵאתִי »
זו כוס אליהו הנביא, מבשר הגאולה השלמה!
ז. ארבעה בנים בהגדה
יש לנו גם 4 בנים בהגדה:
ארבעת הבנים האלה מקבילים ל4 הכוסות ול4 הלשונות.
אבל מי מקביל לכוס החמישית?
ח. הבן החמישי: מי שלא בשולחן
סוד הגאולה:
החכם יושב בשולחן. הרשע גם — הוא שם, שואל שאלות פרובוקטיביות, אבל הוא נוכח!
התם שם. שאינו יודע לשאול גם.
אבל יש בן חמישי...
הבן החמישי הוא מי שלא בשולחן בכלל!
הוא בתאילנד, בפיליפינים, או פשוט מנותק לגמרי. שבת לא מעניינת אותו, הסדר לא מעניין אותו, כלום לא מעניין אותו.
אבל הוא הבן שלך. והוא לא בשולחן שלך.
ט. התנאי לגאולה השלמה
אליהו הנביא אומר לנו:
« הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי שֹׁלֵחַ לָכֶם אֵת אֵלִיָּה הַנָּבִיא לִפְנֵי בּוֹא יוֹם ה׳ הַגָּדוֹל וְהַנּוֹרָא »
« הנה אנוכי שולח לכם את אליה הנביא לפני בוא יום ה׳ הגדול והנורא »
« וְהֵשִׁיב לֵב אָבוֹת עַל בָּנִים וְלֵב בָּנִים עַל אֲבוֹתָם »
« והשיב לב אבות על בנים ולב בנים על אבותם »
המסר של אליהו:
זה לא הישג שיש לך 4 בנים סביבך — הם כבר שם!
האתגר הוא להחזיר את הבן החמישי לשולחן.
עד שלא תחזיר את הבן הרחוק הזה, לא תהיה גאולה שלמה.
י. הבטחת התורה
כשהתורה אומרת « וְהֵבֵאתִי אֶתְכֶם אֶל הָאָרֶץ », זו הבטחה נצחית:
בית ראשון, בית שני — אלה היו רק שלבים לקראת הגאולה הסופית.
הבטחת התורה מדברת על כניסה סופית לארץ ישראל, עם בית המקדש השלישי, בלי יותר גלות לעולם.
גלות מצרים היא שורש כל הגלויות.
גאולת מצרים היא שורש כל הגאולות.
כשכל ה« בנים החמישיים » יחזרו לשולחן — אז « וְהֵבֵאתִי » יתממש במלואו!
יא. סיכום: ה-5 וה-5
5 לשונות
וְהוֹצֵאתִי, וְהִצַּלְתִּי, וְגָאַלְתִּי, וְלָקַחְתִּי + וְהֵבֵאתִי
5 כוסות
4 כוסות חובה + כוס אליהו
5 בנים
חכם, רשע, תם, שאינו יודע + מי שלא בשולחן
התנאי לגאולה:
להחזיר את הבן החמישי לשולחן הסדר!
בִּמְהֵרָה בְיָמֵינוּ אָמֵן
